Elance update
I’m half way through my first outsourceing project. I have an active Elance project to do a refresh of the OSDir logo.
In short it hasn’t been great. However; I take full responsibility. I was not selective enough in choosing my project bids. Embarassingly I think I mismatched portfolios of a bidder. Rookie!
This being said, my experience with my outsourced person has been very good. I didn’t receive what I thought I would (because of my error), but the provider has been excellent in working with me to move toward the best product, I think, they would produce based on their previous work.
In short, though not happy with errors I brought to the process, the process has been quite good. I will be giving full marks to my provider should the end game continue as it has so far.
I may need to go through the same process for the same job; however to start with the correct target outcome.
