Best New Tool
My newest, bestest GTD tool, is a simple wiki page divided up into an html table with three columns and infinite rows… always on display on my desktop at work from an additional ‘puter… a mac mini & 19” monitor. The mac mini also acts as a server.
Because space is limited on a monitor the top three cells of the table are reserved for the most important stuff I need to keep in mind & be tickled of: Todo Today, ToDo After, and General Stuff Going On. The rest acts as a quick way to capture thoughts & ideas, and project notes.
It’s very much like the hipster PDA with it’s index cards, but always open & turned to the best important tickler files.
I host it on a pbwiki so I can reach it from any connected device.
